Although it is the spring semester, the winter weather still lingers in the air. Students may be looking for a place to escape the cold during their free time on campus. So where are the best places to sit back and chill? The university has several comfortable locations for students to study, watch television, play games, read, and listen to music.

The Hutchinson Lounge, located on the first floor of the building, provides students with large screen televisions and comfortable seats for them to sit back and relax in between classes. Another place for students to visit is the Nancy Thompson Library. Students have access to the computer lab, where they can finish any last minute assignments or surf the web. They can also enjoy reading or studying in peace and quiet at the library.

For a little more excitement, students can visit the University Center. There is a game room, cafeteria, and computer lab all conveniently located in this building. The bookstore is also found here if students want to pick up any school supplies or Kean memorabilia.

Located on the third floor of the Maxine and Jack Lane Center for Academic Success building is Starbucks. Students can purchase a hot cup of coffee or tea to warm up after walking in the cold. Students can bring their beverages with them to any of the relaxing locations on campus except for the computer labs.

Once the weather warms up a bit, there are benches located all around campus for students to get some fresh air and enjoy the warm sun while they study, talk to friends, read, or listen to music. But until then, cougars may prefer to spend their time being warm and cozy in the Cougar's Den.
