It was a beautiful day and the Greeks were out and about. Students from all walks of life came to enjoy music and fellowship amongst some of Kean's movers and shakers on campus, hosted by the one and only DJ Nix N the Mix. The sisters of Lambda Chi Rho Sorority (1962) brought the sunshine to the afternoon, literally.

Taking a leadership position and being an example to other students is not always an easy thing to do.
It probably looked a little strange to walk towards the University center to see many men and women dressed in army fatigue with their pants tucked inside their black steel toe boots, wearing badges, and berets to match. Out of the ordinary, right? It gets weirder; they were surrounded by fun games like basketball hoops and television sets where anyone could play if they'd like.
Have you ever had a fresh pair of jeans that fit perfectly when you first purchased them but now every time you wear them they're feeling a little snug? Or worse, now after you eat you find yourself unbuckling your belt or even pulling down your zipper? Then you think to yourself, "wait a second, I never had to do this before I started college!" It can only be the one thing that college students dread the most: THE FRESHMAN FIFTEEN! A lot of college students wonder how 10, 15, or even 20 pounds can easily sneak up on them without noticing it right away.
There is more to college life than hour long lecture classes, working two jobs so you could satisfy those annoying hunger pangs, or even trying to get your car, which was built the same year you were born, to start during the winter. Who said life should be more exciting when you graduate? College life should be all that and more, but it all depends on whether you want to make ever-lasting memories or not.
Whether you are sitting in the cafeteria for lunch or strolling to class, you can't help but overhear what hot topic the campus community is focused on at that moment. It might be a basketball game, a concert, or maybe who got eliminated on a reality show the night before.
